Basa Castings' founder, Taib Khalfan, is a master craftsman with over 15 years of experience in casting patio furniture in aluminum, most of that time with one of Canada's leading foundries. He reached a crossroads in his career upon his mentor's passing in 2002; a man who had instilled in him the need to strive for quality and perfection. Should he continue at the firm, or strike out on his own? We are glad he chose the latter, choosing to return to his Kenyan homeland to found Basa Castings Ltd.
His firm is able to produce extremely high quality cast aluminum patio furniture in a cost effective way, and he is insistent that no product be released to market until it meets his exacting standards. Therefore, you can be assured that every item we sell is made with supreme quality and pride.
